Cameron Spencer Personal Develoment Plan Diary

I will work on my graphics design so that when I come to work on the game making unit I will be able to make some advanced sprites so that my game could pass as a semi dissent game so that after it is made maybe STEAM will accept my game as their standards are up there. So, my game will have to be perfect and fully functional so that then it will be able to be published on the system called STEAM. I would also wish to have my gamed up to be reviewed by the public and some big game personality’s so that then maybe I will have to take it all to the next level.  I have worked on my graphics designed by watching videos and learning how to do it by also reading up on the ideas that people have come up with to help them and i have started this to at least attempt to help me b y doing so. 

I will to work archive a better website by learning more in the program tumbler so that each post is fully custom and easy to navigate. Also, so that I am then able to take my skills to the next level by transferring them in to C++ language so that then I can start to do more advanced programming and making games and subjects like that. Also, I will be able to transfer my skills into college in the games unit that we are doing next term so that then I can bring my new skills to the table so that I am able to proceed and push on while still been able to work on other projects. I have started this by using the time that we have started to code our own websites in college and then going away and using that to help me.

I will work on passing my theory for my full driving linces and I will start to achieve this by using on line tests and exams so that I will be ready to take the tests/exam and at least attempt to pass on my first time so that then I can go on to work on getting my full lince. I will work on this up to the date of my theory exam so that I am able to pass on the first attempt so that I will be able to pass my final exam to get the full linces so then I will be able to be more independent and be able to get to places easer.

I will work to would working on a game that is working and available to the public and tested by the end of the term by using. Then working on by using Notepad and entity as the base code for the game and then steam for the publisher to the game. I will achieve this by using all of my coding knowledge to work on a game that is not only stable and easy to play but is able to be on steam and up to there standards. I have worked on my  coding knowledge by using my time more usefully by watching videos and learning off my friends that are mostly good coders.

Improving my technology knowledge would help me as then I would be able to help with my career and in my working environment as I would know a bit more and be able to help more and more people as I would know a lot more about their systems and what they are running and what the problem they are expiring could be. It would also help me as I could use that knowledge to take more qualifications and gain a lot more experience in that area of expertise. I have improved this by watching more videos about what it is that i am currently studding and i have also started to complete this by working on it by reading a lot in to the current activity and projects taht we are doing in college at the time.

An important thing I need to improve is speaking out to a group of people, this is important because the job and career path I want to go down involves a lot of group discussions. As of now I’m not great at speaking to a group of selected people which is why I’d like to improve on this. If I can overcome this, it will help me and benefit me so much in the career I want to do. I can prove my point and show a group of people about the topic or subject I want to get across to people. i have done this by starting to take part in more group tasks and worked in small and some large groups on the projects that we have been given to complete.  

I could improve my ability to do work at home and in spare time when possible,  as it would help me be able to complete task before deadline and this would also help me as I would be able to improve my productivity and management skills as I will have to learn to manage my time better around college work and other various things I do in my spare time. It would also help as I would be able to hand in work before the deadline and show how committed I am to finish various tasks. This will also show businesses that I’m committed to handing in work on time and to ensure that the job I’ve been given gets completed on time. It would also help me overcome working under pressure because once I can improve on working in my spare time and using my time wisely it won’t be a problem. I have done this by starting to fully work independently on my own at home by using my time more wizelly than just sitting there doing brain numming things like gaming.

I would wish to improve my communication skills as that could help me get a job and work in teams and then go in to smaller groups of people. Also It would help as I could then work on my international language skills. It can also help when coming across to over co-workers and students as it can make sure that you don’t come across as aggressive and or in-mature so that you will look professionally  in front of your workers and or students so that you can look as if you are more professionally in-front of other workers. I have started to work a lot more in groups and i have given a few presentations over the start of my college time and i have also worked on this by taking part in a lot of group activity's. 

I would like to get my driving licence as then I could be more independent and not have to rely on public transport and or asking people to help me get to my destination. So then I would be more able to travel form what I need like work or college. And also I would like to achieve this as it would help me get a job as I can travel further and faster when I need to not at only certain points. I am working on my getting my driving licence by doing lessons each week and i have booked in my theory for the start of next year to attempt to insure that i pass my practical driving test at the start of next year.

I have started to work on learning on how to become a technician, working on this will and may be helping me to get a job and apply for stuff that requires it as I’ll be learning my self. I have also started to work on making a good CV as I have used some online services to help me along the way and begin to write out a good one and have other people to read over it and proof read it. Also I have reached out to a few people that run company’s and asked them what they would look for in a good CV for their line of work (Mainly in computer). I have now made a fully practical CV and i am using to help e to get the work experience that i need to get to fully complete my course.
